“ I don’t leave reviews often. But after our experience tonight I had to share. We were running behind so made it in at 8:20 and they closed at 9. We were greeted very warmly and kindly even given the time. The twisty bread is AMAZING and priced extremely reasonable. We also ordered pizza and the broiled chicken. The food here is absolutely amazing. We try to eat here at least a few times a month or whenever we are up here. I eat a lot of pizza all over the state and this def ranks with in the top. The waitress was very kind and paid special attention to my daughters. Was on top of refills and made sure we needed nothing. A gentleman came from the back and surprised my 3 and 4 year old with full sized stuffed animals and completely made their night and then thanked us for our business and for coming in. In all the times our family has came here we have never once had bad service or bad food. That is a rarity nowadays. I highly highly recommend this establishment and only wished they were closer to home!! Keep up the great work!!!! ”
“ True Grit family style restaurant. Large flavorful portions and waitresses with the IQ of Genius and I would have to say clairvoyance. You'll be amazed! ”
“ Husband had all you can eat cod. I had walleye. The 2 pieces of walleye are huge. Now we do prefer more of a corn meal breading, which they didn't have. But they did lightly batter for us. Lots of fries, and really crispy & tasty. Refills on creamy, super fresh coleslaw. I hate old clowslaw. Loved sitting outside on patio. You are near busy road and facing barn from fairgrounds. But the patio with lots of shade is just really nice. Brandi came back to check many many times, very attentive. Definitely recommend. ”
“ When it’s been a tough, cold, Michigan winter, you only want one thing if you live in Metro Detroit, to get up north! And part of that is visiting great new places. We stayed at a good friend’s place in Harrison and wanted some all you can eat fish n chips and to get some great drinks to accompany ! This place delivered with all you can eat tender cod, nice cutlets in not too much batter. Perfect! Good fries and the malt vinegar already on the table was a proper greeting. My regular American beer off the tap was ice cold and the lines were perfectly clean. I know when they are not. Had a Bloody Mary, house special made with Kurveball smoked bbq whiskey. OMG. I also seen they have an old school spotless clean salad bar and a pizza buffet at lunch. The prices were beyond reasonable. 3 people with at least 6 drinks and 3 meals walked out for under 100. This is what up north is about. No worries because you will leave happy! ”
“ Pizza was excellent. Service was friendly and prompt. Only change I would make to a fantastic restaurant is getting rid of the Native American statue in the dining area. It is tacky and sends a bad message. Otherwise, fantastic. ”
“ Great small town restaurant! Friendly attentive staff. Clean and cozy with a country feel. Great, all you can eat pizza buffet at lunchtime! ”
“ We just ate here for the first time ever for lunch. What a great experience! Emma, our waitress, was phenomenal. I got the nachos and asked her to sub the ground beef for brisket, and she was happy to do that. My husband got the broasted chicken, which he really enjoyed. Our son got the pancakes and was very happy as well. Overall a great experience! We have a cottage in the area so we will definitely be back. ”
“ Super amazing. Never been definitely will be back. Fast very good service food was amazing. Older lady was super friendly and even gave my daughter a stuffed animal! Pizza was 10/10 and twisted breadsticks yes so so good. Chicken tenders and fish baskets were amazing as well. ”
